Bottom Surgery Prep

About Skylar

Skylar (she/her) is the owner and operator of the Gleam Hair Free electrolysis studio in North Park. She became an electrologist after spending countless hours in the chairs of other electrologists who sometimes failed to make her feel fully at ease as a trans client.

She has been working with queer and transgender clients since opening the studio, and approaches every session with the understanding that this work is meaningful, not just cosmetic. She finds fulfillment in offering her services to other people in the trans community. Skylar strives to provide a holistically welcoming space for those who have not always felt comfortable with other hair removal providers — an experience she is all too familiar with.

Skylar uses the Evolution ST-350 by Silhouet-Tone, one of the newest and most advanced electrolysis machines currently available, which allows precise, customized treatment for each client's unique hair and skin.
